Hi my name is Sue Lewis, one of the music teachers at Valley Catholic Music School in Beaverton Oregon. I'm once again looking forward to teaching the violin class at our annual Summer Music Camp. It's so fun and rewarding working with these eager students and wonderful staff. Classes also include piano, voice & recorder and more! June 24th - 28th grades k-5. Individual lessons in various instruments and voice are also available to VC students and to the community at large, all ages welcome.
VC Music School offers a summer music camp for grades K-5 with rotational segments on piano, recorder, violin and voice. We teach basic music fundamentals, such as rhythm, note reading, terminology, movement and ear training. We focus on having fun with friends who like music as much as we do. No previous experience is necessary. However, if your child does have musical experience, we will work to enhance what they already know. Our teachers are positive, encouraging and warm, allowing each student to learn individually and in a group setting. Summer Music Camp is open to all! We look forward to seeing you and your friends in June!
